Juvenile Ministry

Through a partnership with Deliver Hope, we are working to engage young people in relational outreach as they are met in a variety of youth-serving institutions throughout Faulkner County (detention centers, probation, correctional facilities, group homes, residential treatment centers, and emergency shelters). This strategy helps young people acquire and develop a way of living taught by Jesus Christ, balancing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of life.

On the Inside

Staff and volunteers in our Juvenile Justice Ministry work with youth in the juvenile justice system in Faulkner County to share the love of Christ through chapel times, mentoring, and life skills counseling sessions.  By meeting kids where they are and showing the love of Christ despite the circumstances, we see good things can happen in a young person’s life.

When They Get Out

Dedicated staff and volunteers strive to come alongside young people when they are released from juvenile detention to mentor them and help them get connected to caring communities in the local church.  These mentoring relationships can help them break the negative patterns that cause youth to re-offend. Consider training with us to become an aftercare mentor!
